Abstract
Osseous metaplasia is a
rare finding in the gastrointestinal tract. We report the case
of a 75-year-old woman with a gastric adenocarcinoma showing
heterotopic ossification with bone marrow formation. The pathogenetic
theories are briefly discussed.
